School Cancels Prom Because Of Lesbian Couple I saw this item in news and felt slightly sick. A school in Mississippi has cancelled its prom after a lesbian student asked to attend it with her date. She was initially refused for no good reason, but when she asked the American Civil Liberties Union the school responded by cancelling the prom.
